hey pokemon, how have you been

Here are some new pokemon drawings, it's been a while since I've posted any pokemon stuff. Expect more in the near future though~

ceci n'est pas un pokemon

I like how this one turned out. Obviously MSPA has inspired me more than I'd like to think because I realised a striking resemblance after completion. Really diggin' the no-line thing now as you can plainly see, at least with digital stuff anyways. Gonna have to work on getting a read though without jumping to light/dark to make things stand out against each other. I'll study my homeboy Scott Wills I guess cause he was definitely the master of that.

AND ON A NON CONFUSING NOTE: heading to the zoo directly after posting this, so I will probably have some fancy animal drawings pretty soon. I'm gonna be on that season pass swag

tales from the sketchbook, issue 2

just some more stuff from the last few months a la issue 1

I will be posting more regularly, I am going to have to make a piece of art or more a day now pretty much, and I will be sharing most of that with you. SO BE EXCITED.

now for something never done before on this blog

...POKEMON
This is actually some pretty old stuff of mine, I think I did this about a year or two ago. But I really like the style I used here and I will definitely reapproach it, especially because my nerd levels have reached new highs and I got some Pokedex books for christmas (references made easy~). On another, somewhat related note, it is hard to have a drive to complete work when I have Mario Kart 7

MEOWT DATS RIGHT

Hey guys! It's been a long time since I've posted here but with good reason; I have been busy as all hell. The past year I've been working nonstop at the ice cream shop, and just trying to get on top of everything. I decided that I'm going to go to school this September and make a portfolio, and what better way to present pieces of it than with this blog? So prepare yo mamma jamma selves for my pokemon drawings and attempts at scraping together a portfolio.

This is something I drew for pokemon month on facebook where you make your profile picture your favorite pokemon. I consider it a success, although it could use 56% more vomit

yes i am 7 years old, what about it

you know, i was pretty excited when i heard about the 5th generation of pokemon. but i have to say, after seeing all of the new pokemon i have come to the conclusion that most look stupid as all hell. choroneko (pictured above getting it's ass kicked) for example. it looks like glameow's down syndrome cousin. oh well. at least the wrestling pig is awesome. tried a crazy halftone style here, didn't work out as planned but whatever.

ACTUAL COMICS TOMORROW~
